Job Summary

This role involves acting as an Embedded Software Developer for Airbus Defence and Space in Taufkirchen, focusing on the DeckFinder system. Day-to-day tasks include implementing software for new and existing products, writing unit tests, and performing hardware/software integration. A key responsibility is validating and verifying software from unit testing through flight tests, ensuring compliance with all requirements, and contributing to V&V, release, qualification, and certification processes. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, several years of experience in IT/Information Systems, and strong knowledge of C and embedded software development, including experience with schedulers, U-Boot, firmware, and I/O. Experience with airborne systems development, particularly DO-178B/C, is a significant advantage, alongside fluent English skills.
