Job Summary

This role involves working as a Development Engineer specializing in power supply and computer systems for a high-end technology company within the defense industry in Bremen. Day-to-day responsibilities include the electrical development of electromechanical devices, segments, and systems, ensuring compliance with requirements for manufacturing and reuse of existing components. The engineer will be responsible for designing and configuring units, selecting suitable standard and purchased parts, and defining specifications for system cable development in coordination with the circuit board development department. Key tasks also encompass creating comprehensive wiring diagrams, conducting integration and commissioning activities, performing necessary tests during development, and ensuring units are ready for serial production. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent, possess multi-year professional experience in electrical development, and have strong knowledge of electrical drives, power supplies, computer systems, and interface electronics. Fluency in both German and English is a prerequisite for this challenging position.
