Job Summary

This role involves specialized characterization and validation of Mixed-Signal ASICs, RFICs, and MMICs for a renowned client in the aerospace and radar technology sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and optimizing complex measurement setups for analyzing high-frequency and mixed-signal parameters, performing measurements on coaxial and wafer probes in the micro- and millimeter-wave ranges, and conducting data acquisition and evaluation using tools like MATLAB or Python. The engineer will also manage documentation, provide technical assessments for design and test processes, and support external testing for series releases and qualification measurements. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical or High-Frequency Engineering, expertise in high-frequency measurement technology, and practical experience with semiconductor component characterization and automated measurement systems. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Duisburg, requiring proficiency in both German and English.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree or technical training in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Microelectronics, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in high-frequency measurement technology, calibration, and de-embedding techniques
  • Experience characterizing semiconductor components (ASICs, MMICs, RF components)
  • Routine operation of measurement systems (VNA, SMU, Oscilloscope, Climate Chamber, etc.)
  • Professional experience with IT automation and data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB or similar)
