Job Summary

This role involves working as an ASIC Layout Engineer specializing in RF/Analog design within the aerospace sector in Munich. The primary responsibilities include the design planning and implementation of RF/Analog SiGe-BiCMOS circuit modules using Cadence Virtuoso XL, providing essential support to the design engineering team, and executing the complete verification flow, including DRC and LVS using Cadence Assura/PVS tools. A key part of the job is floorplanning in close collaboration with the RF-IC Design and RF System teams, along with scripting tasks using tools like Skill and Python. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering, coupled with extensive experience in RF/Analog layout, deep knowledge of SiGe-BiCMOS processes, and expertise in layout techniques for device matching and parasitic reduction. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Several years of experience in RF/Analog layout
  • Extensive knowledge of SiGe-BiCMOS processes
  • Professional experience with the complete design flow from schematic to GDSII, including verification and Process Design Kits
