Job Summary

This role involves working as a Metrology and Jigs & Tools Specialist for Airbus Aerostructures in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, focusing on ensuring precision and quality in manufacturing processes. The specialist will be responsible for defining measurement strategies and systems, processing 3D CAD models for measurement tasks, and programming automated measurement sequences. Key daily activities include conducting, evaluating, analyzing, and visualizing measurements, as well as investigating the root causes of errors and implementing corrective actions. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree in fields like Geomatics, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics, coupled with professional experience in metrology, quality management, and the use of laser measurement and scanning systems. Proficiency in 3D measurement procedures and specific vermessungssoftware like Spatial Analyzer or Polyworks is essential, alongside fluent German and advanced English skills, and a willingness to work in a 2-shift system.
