Job Summary

This role involves operating and maintaining complex Avionics Test Facilities, Real-Time Test Systems, and Simulation Environments for Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The Operations Engineer will be responsible for providing essential support to testers, quickly diagnosing and resolving faults within the test facilities and associated IT infrastructure to ensure rapid restoration of service. Key duties also include independently developing, implementing, and integrating changes and updates to the systems, as well as maintaining comprehensive documentation and processes for the test environment. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, coupled with professional experience in IT/Information Systems, network technology, scripting, and modern development tools like Jira/Confluence. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for effective communication.
