Job Summary

This role involves developing hardware for embedded control units within the automotive sector, focusing heavily on High-Voltage (HV) systems like charging inlets, EVCCs, and Power Distribution Units. The engineer will be responsible for the design and layout of PCBs, including thick-film and thick-copper boards for high-current applications, ensuring compliance with critical automotive standards (ISO 16750, LV124, ISO 26262). Day-to-day tasks include performing hardware tests, managing requirements and documentation using tools like Polarion and Siemens Teamcenter, and collaborating closely with software and HiL verification teams. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering, multi-year experience in embedded hardware development, and specific expertise in high-current PCB design and HV components (contactors, fuses).
