The Field Service IT Technician handles a diverse range of responsibilities, from initial technical clarification and measurements to installation, maintenance, and direct customer support. Key day-to-day tasks include installing complex mechatronic access control, alarm, and video surveillance systems, integrating components, and configuring software on servers and PCs. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician) with strong knowledge of network technology and Windows environments. Required Skills

Education

Technical vocational training (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Technician, Information Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, or Mechatronics Technician)

Experience

  • Professional experience in network technology and Windows environments
  • Experience with hazard detection systems (e.g., AJAX, Videofied) preferred
  • Experience with access control technology (e.g., Datafox, SALTO) preferred
  • Experience with Smart Home solutions preferred

Languages

German (Fluent)

  • Class B driving license required; Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays (1–2 times per month).
