Job Summary

This role seeks a Systems Engineer specializing in advanced braking systems, focusing on the entire product lifecycle from requirements analysis to integration and diagnosis. The core responsibilities include analyzing customer specifications, monitoring market trends in braking technology, and designing robust physical and functional architectures for specialized demonstration vehicles. A significant part of the role involves developing independent safety functions in close collaboration with the functional safety team, requiring a strong understanding of standards like ISO 26262. The successful candidate will also manage project timelines, coordinate internal and external engineering teams, and perform structured fault analyses during the integration phase. Key qualifications include a degree in Mechatronics or Automotive Engineering, proficiency in model-based development using Matlab/Simulink, and programming skills in Java and Python. Fluent German and English are mandatory.

Completed degree in Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Automotive Engineering, or comparable field.

Experience
