Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher or PhD Student to join the interdisciplinary MatriPath-Lab at the University Hospital Freiburg, focusing on DFG-funded translational research. The core mission is to characterize and functionally decipher the disease mechanisms of glomerular pathologies using cutting-edge Spatial Biology methods. Day-to-day activities involve utilizing a comprehensive methodology portfolio, including in vitro approaches like CRISPR/Cas9, in vivo models, and advanced in situ analyses, with a strong emphasis on Multiplex Immunofluorescence. Successful candidates must possess a strong Master's degree or PhD in Life Sciences, excellent fundamentals in Molecular and Cell Biology, and mandatory FELASA B certification for animal experiments. Experience in image analysis (QuPath/CellProfiler) and fluorescence microscopy is essential. Required Skills
