Day-to-day responsibilities focus heavily on sample preparation, including supporting the creation of acidic or alkaline digestions for subsequent elemental determination in solid and aqueous environmental samples. You will be responsible for weighing samples, preparing reagents, solutions, and standards, and ensuring quality assurance measures comply with DIN EN ISO 17025 standards. Candidates must have completed vocational training and possess physical stamina, as the work is primarily performed standing and involves some lifting. While no specific prior lab experience is necessary, a structured, careful, and responsible approach, combined with basic computer skills, is essential for success in this practical and varied role.
