Job Summary

The AGROLAB GROUP, a leading European laboratory analytics company, is seeking a motivated Chemical Laboratory Technician specializing in inorganic environmental analysis to join their team in Kiel. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing acidic or alkaline digests for elemental determination in solid and aqueous environmental samples, preparing various solid and water samples for specialized analyses (e.g., AOX, EOX, TOC, CFA, IC), and accurately weighing samples. A core part of the role involves operating and potentially maintaining advanced measuring instruments like ICP-MS/ICP-OES, setting up reagents, solutions, and standards, and ensuring quality assurance measures according to DIN EN ISO 17025. Candidates must have completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (CTA) or equivalent, or be career changers with relevant laboratory experience. Practical experience in sample preparation and instrument operation is highly desirable, along with knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality management. The role requires a careful, structured, and independent working style, combined with strong commitment and flexibility.
