Job Summary

This role involves planning, organizing, and executing complex validation and characterization programs for sensors used in the development of eBike drive systems. Key day-to-day tasks include conducting NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) measurements in the acoustics lab, coordinating technical details with advanced development and system architects, and specifying/developing new tests and comprehensive testing procedures based on product requirements. The engineer will also be responsible for building, commissioning, and maintaining test benches and measurement technology, and automating test sequences and data analysis. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, possesses multi-year professional experience in testing mechatronic systems, and has strong knowledge of sensor technology, NVH analysis, and signal processing. Fluency in both German and English is required for effective interdisciplinary collaboration.

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in the characterization and testing of mechatronic systems
  • Relevant experience in the setup and operation of test benches and measurement technology
  • Experience in software programming and creating applications (for testing/automation)
  • Foundational expertise in automating test procedures and analyzing large datasets
  • Knowledge in the field of electric drives (desirable)
