Job Summary

The Technical University of Darmstadt is seeking an Electrical Engineer to serve as a specialist and project manager, focusing on the new construction and maintenance of electrical systems, particularly medium-voltage (MV) installations (DIN 276, Cost Groups 440 and 450). This role involves providing critical support to project leads within the Construction Management and Technical Operations department, ensuring sustainable operations across the university's complex building portfolio. Day-to-day tasks include acting as the client representative, determining construction needs, reviewing planning and cost documentation, managing procurement processes (including bid and invoice review), and overseeing construction monitoring and acceptance. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) coupled with professional experience in managing MV systems and possesses strong knowledge of public regulations, VOB, HOAI, and VDE standards. Fluency in German (C2) and proficiency in standard office software are essential for success in this demanding and autonomous role.
