Job Summary

Covestro is seeking a Toxicological Expert to join the CEO function, focusing on strategic product safety and regulatory compliance within a multidisciplinary team. This role involves coordinating and evaluating external toxicological studies (in-vitro and in-vivo) for global registrations, including managing IUCLID data and conducting product hazard assessments. The expert will be responsible for preparing and submitting regulatory notifications to authorities, particularly concerning REACh and food contact regulations, and leading global, cross-departmental projects on product safety. Key qualifications include an advanced natural science degree (PhD), specialization as a certified Toxicologist, and significant industrial experience in regulatory toxicology and product defense. Fluency in English is required, along with detailed knowledge of hazardous substance regulations and experience interacting with authorities.
