Job Summary

This role within the Nature Conservation Office involves creating detailed written care and development plans (PEPL) for protected areas and ecologically valuable regions. The professional will manage tasks related to implementing protective and maintenance measures derived from these plans, administer county-owned nature conservation areas—including assessing purchase/lease suitability and monitoring lease conditions—and revise or newly designate protected area ordinances, natural monuments, and protected landscape components. Key responsibilities also include planning the deployment of the maintenance team and landscape monitoring, and executing tasks for the forest authority, such as consulting on forestry matters and processing forest conversion statements. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant degree in fields like Landscape Planning, Biology, or Forest Science, coupled with excellent botanical and zoological species knowledge and proficiency in ArcGIS.

Completed University Degree (Diploma/FH or Bachelor) in Landscape Management, Nature Conservation, Landscape Ecology, Landscape Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Sciences (specializing in Ecology), Environmental and Landscape Design, Forestry, Forest Science, or Biology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in creating care and development plans for protected areas
