Job Summary

Join the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI as a Technical Assistant or Biological Laboratory Technician, contributing to the advancement of medical progress in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. In this role, you will be deeply involved in the entire production process, from cultivating mammalian cells in various bioreactors up to 200 liters, to purifying active pharmaceutical ingredients using chromatography and filtration, and performing sterile filling. A key aspect of your work will be conducting analytical testing at all stages to ensure product quality, safety, and efficacy. You will also contribute to GMP-compliant documentation, coordinate with quality control, and manage laboratory logistics including sample management and material planning.
