Job Summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to manage the integration of control, communication, and information systems for modern railway rolling stock. This critical role involves configuring, integrating, analyzing, and validating IT/OT components (e.g., critical control units, video surveillance, and display systems) across international railway projects. Day-to-day, you will collaborate closely with development and testing teams, defining test scopes, creating test cases, and executing manual and automated tests, ensuring thorough documentation and initiating countermeasures when necessary. The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor's degree in IT and extensive professional experience in methodical software development or integration (Agile/Waterfall/V-model) and validation, ideally within the railway sector. Experience with Linux, IP-based communication protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT), and modern programming languages like Java and Python is highly valued.
