Job Summary

The Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG) is seeking a Scientific Employee for Radio Telescopes at its globally unique Wettzell Geodetic Observatory. This five-year fixed-term position involves project-based work, focusing on the maintenance and advancement of high-frequency components and fiber optic links for HF signal transmission, alongside associated IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include planning new radio telescope installations, designing and executing measurement campaigns, and processing VLBI raw data within international scientific collaborations.
