Job Summary

Join a pioneering company driving the energy transition by providing sustainable, large-scale energy storage solutions for commercial, industrial, and grid infrastructure. This role offers the flexibility of home office work combined with extensive travel (4-5 days/week) across the DACH region to manage exciting construction sites. As the Construction Manager for Electrical Engineering, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing the entire installation process of large energy storage systems, from site setup to successful completion. Key responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, ensuring high quality standards, managing project handovers with commissioning and project management teams, and strictly enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an electrician, electronics technician, or mechatronics engineer, ideally complemented by a Master Craftsman, Technician certification, or an electrical engineering degree, coupled with substantial experience in construction site management and a passion for renewable energy.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Engineer, ideally supplemented by a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician (Techniker) certification, or a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Engineer
  • Experience in construction site management, particularly in plant construction (Anlagenbau)
  • Practical experience with medium voltage systems, preferably as an authorized person for medium voltage switching
