Job Summary

This role involves the independent development of electronic hardware solutions for innovative systems, focusing on lighting, intelligent surfaces, and E/E systems, primarily within the automotive sector. The Hardware Developer will define the overall mechatronic concept and system specifications, manage technical development documentation according to automotive standards, and perform layout/schematic creation using Mentor Expedition, including electrical and thermal simulation. A key part of the job is conceptual development of technology platforms, circuit topologies, and key components, alongside creating test specifications and participating in test execution. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, possesses at least five years of automotive experience, and is proficient in agile development methods and Altium Designer. Strong German and English skills are essential for managing international projects and interfacing with customers and suppliers.
