Job Summary

This role is ideal for a (Junior) Laboratory Technician specializing in Pharmaceutical Microbiology, focusing on ensuring product safety and quality within a GMP-regulated environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting microbiological purity testing on active ingredients, raw materials, intermediate, and finished products, as well as microbiological potency determination of antibiotics and finished drugs. The technician will also be responsible for preparing and qualifying culture media, qualifying lab equipment, assisting with the validation/transfer of microbiological methods, and maintaining meticulous GMP-compliant documentation, including supporting the creation of SOPs. Key qualifications include a background as a Biology Laboratory Technician (Biologielaborant), BTA, MTA, or equivalent, coupled with experience in a GMP environment and good IT skills.
