Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced IT Specialist or DevOps Engineer to join the newly formed Dashboarding Team within the Quality Assurance department, focusing on educational reporting for the Startchancen Program (SCP). You will be instrumental in managing the entire development lifecycle of a new web application designed for data-driven teaching and school development dashboards. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and maintaining servers, databases, and network infrastructure, ensuring robust security and recovery measures, and actively resolving incidents. A key focus will be advancing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and managing containerization using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or vocational qualification in IT, strong server administration skills, and proficiency in automation scripting (Bash, Python, Terraform), ensuring the technical foundation for this critical public sector project is stable and scalable. The position is full-time and temporary until February 2031.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist or a completed Bachelor's degree (or comparable qualification) in a relevant technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in server administration and database management
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident management tools
- Familiarity with scripting, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies
