Job Summary
This role is ideal for an automation or electrical engineering specialist passionate about electric motors and drive technology. As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and commissioning of AC servo, torque, and stepper motor drives from leading manufacturers like Siemens, Bosch, and Festo. A core part of the job involves developing sophisticated PLC software for CNC applications, force control, coordinate transformation, and interpolated motion. You will also analyze and optimize existing drive concepts, create essential technical documentation, and coach the commissioning team. This position requires expertise in industrial communication protocols, specifically Profinet and EtherCAT, and involves supporting exciting projects both internally and directly at customer sites worldwide. Candidates must possess a degree in a relevant engineering field, experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff, or Bosch Nexeed), and strong German and good English skills.
