Job Summary
This leadership role involves managing the Medical Technology Department at the Medical University Hannover (MHH), overseeing a team of 30 employees. The Head of Department is responsible for the continuous development of personnel and organizational structure, ensuring high standards of technical know-how. Key daily tasks include independently managing medical technology projects, particularly maintenance measures, and supporting construction management during planning and execution of building projects. The successful candidate will act as the crucial interface between technical operations, construction management, users, and regulatory authorities. A primary focus is ensuring compliance with operator obligations, quality assurance, and relevant legal standards like the Medical Devices Act. The position requires a degree in Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, coupled with substantial leadership experience managing large teams, and strong financial acumen for budgeting and cost optimization. This is a permanent, full-time position offering public sector benefits.

Experience
- Several years of experience in a comparable position

- Knowledge of hygienic concerns/regulations in the hospital sector
