Job Summary
This role involves supporting the company's Interconnected Retail strategy by ensuring optimal system integration and performance across over 170 markets and logistics centers. As an IT Service Desk Engineer, you will primarily work on-site, developing and ensuring the quality of IT services for central administration departments. Key responsibilities include defining and documenting IT processes, conducting analyses for process optimization, and acting as the main contact for providing necessary hardware and software, ensuring their functionality. You will also provide crucial 1st and 2nd Level User Helpdesk Support, engaging directly with employees across European locations. The ideal candidate possesses solid knowledge in hardware, software, and specific expertise in Microsoft Server/Client OS, Office 365, SAP, and networking. Required Skills
Education
Vocational training, further IT qualification, or a degree in a technical field
Experience
- Professional experience in the IT sector (through vocational training, further qualification, or professional activity)
- Initial professional experience if holding a technical degree
- Solid knowledge in hardware and software
- Extensive expertise in User Helpdesk Support (1st and 2nd Level)

- Fixed-term contract for 12 months; role is predominantly on-site in Bornheim near Landau in der Pfalz; must be able to communicate effectively in English with the target audience.
