Job Summary
The city of Wilhelmshaven is seeking a dedicated Head of Administration for its Environmental and Climate Protection Department. Required Skills
Education
Completed training as an Administrative Assistant with the 2nd employee examination, or eligibility for the 1st entry-level position of career group 2, general services, preferably with a focus on municipal administration. Alternatively, a degree as a Diplom-Jurist (m/f/d), Jurist (Univ.) (m/f/d), Magister Juris (m/f/d), or a Bachelor's or Diploma in Business Administration with a legal focus, or a Bachelor's in Public Administration.
Experience
- Professional experience in administrative leadership and coordination
- Experience in personnel management, including job description creation and training
- Experience with organizational tasks and financial support within public administration
- Experience in handling legal matters, including administrative and environmental law
- Professional experience in a municipal administration setting is desirable
Languages
Additional
- Class B driving license required. Health suitability for screen work. Willingness to undertake further training in environment-related legal areas. Eligibility for career group 2 (formerly higher service) / 2nd employee examination.
