The City of Geislingen an der Steige is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Human Resources to lead its HR department, replacing the long-serving incumbent who is retiring. This is a critical leadership role overseeing HR operations for approximately 600 city employees. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading, developing, and motivating a team of seven HR staff, managing all aspects of personnel recruitment and selection, and providing expert advice on labor, civil service, and collective bargaining law to various city departments. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and deep expertise in public sector HR law and processes, including payroll management and the digitalization of HR processes.
