Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the future of rail infrastructure by focusing on the installation, testing, and commissioning of interlocking systems and their electromechanical components across construction sites in the Bavaria region. The Site Technician will execute assigned assembly work according to the site manager's specifications, ensuring professional and safe execution, including preparing materials and tools, setting up the workstation, and adhering to safety regulations. Key responsibilities include mounting electrical and mechanical components, performing functional checks and cable measurements, independently troubleshooting faults, and documenting all work using checklists. The position requires a completed technical vocational training (e.g., as an electronics technician or mechatronics technician) and professional experience in the assembly, maintenance, or repair of technical systems, ideally within the rail industry, particularly signal mechanics. This role is attractive for reliable, team-oriented professionals who enjoy frequent, multi-day site deployments (Monday to Friday, occasionally weekends) away from the base location of Braunschweig.
