Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Patent Attorney, qualified before the German and/or European Patent Office, to specialize in Intellectual Property (IP) law, focusing on patents and designs within Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, or Communications Technology. The attorney will manage the full lifecycle of patent applications, including drafting, filing, and prosecuting applications nationally and internationally. Key responsibilities involve advising and representing clients before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), conducting patent searches and expert opinions, and mentoring junior staff and patent engineers. Success requires a strong scientific foundation, excellent analytical skills, and fluency in both German and English.
