Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Senior IT Architect specializing in the implementation and continuous development of central log management solutions within complex, distributed IT environments, supporting the digital future of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and configuring IBM QRadar, integrating various log sources and Syslog agents (such as NXLog, Fluentd, and OpenTelemetry), and implementing/enhancing Windows Event Forwarding/Collection (WEF/WEC) using PowerShell automation. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with at least five years of relevant professional experience, particularly in Log Management Systems. Strong expertise in Linux systems, Windows Event Forwarding, and advanced scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible) is essential. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical national security infrastructure while working in agile teams (Scrum) across Germany.
