Job Summary

This temporary position, based at the Institute for Evolution and Ecology, focuses on driving the digital transformation of examination processes within the Biology Bachelor's program. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating exemplary digital examination formats, specifically e-exams, for large foundational modules. The role involves three phases: a pilot phase (2026) focusing on developing educationally and professionally sound question pools for the 'Ecology and Biodiversity' module; a scaling phase (2027) transferring this concept to other foundational modules in Evolution and Ecology; and a final generalization phase (2028) determining user requirements for broader application across other natural science foundational modules. This role requires a Master's degree in Biology, Ecology, or a related field, demonstrating deep knowledge of core evolutionary and ecological teaching content, with prior experience in creating examination content or using digital teaching/examination formats being advantageous.
