Job Summary

This role involves the crucial task of ensuring the safety and quality of combustion and thermal technology equipment, devices, and systems. The Functional Safety Engineer will be responsible for testing and evaluating these components against relevant standards, focusing specifically on the functional and safety-related characteristics of electrical and electronic systems. Key daily activities include analyzing the functional safety of security devices and systems, providing expert technical support to clients during development, and independently managing and coordinating projects from start to finish, including the creation of detailed test reports and expert opinions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possesses strong knowledge of control and circuit technology, and demonstrates a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and a conscientious, solution-oriented approach to complex safety challenges. The position is based in Munich and requires excellent German and good English language skills.
