Job Summary

This is a leadership opportunity to join the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Westfalen-Lippe (KVWL) in Dortmund as the Head of the Physician Billing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of the billing center, leading a team of 65 employees and three team leaders. Day-to-day tasks involve ensuring the accurate and timely verification of medical and psychotherapeutic services, optimizing internal processes, managing interfaces with other departments, and acting as a key contact for physicians regarding billing inquiries. This role requires a background in healthcare management or business administration, significant leadership experience, and expert knowledge of German healthcare billing regulations (EBM, SGB V).
