Job Summary
This Early Career DFT Engineer role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design of revolutionary Apple products by focusing on System-on-Chip (SoC) design efforts. The successful candidate will be a central part of a hands-on development team, responsible for defining and implementing complete Design for Test (DFT) solutions. Key daily responsibilities include detailing DFT specifications, defining the SoC test interface, developing DFT architecture, and generating structural test vectors while working to analyze and improve test coverage. This highly visible role requires extensive collaboration with validation, design, and testing teams. Prospective engineers must hold a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and demonstrate prior exposure to core DFT activities such as MBIST, SCAN, and ATPG, bringing an innovative approach to solving complex engineering challenges.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent strong experience.
Experience
- Contact with DFT activities (MBIST, SCAN, ATPG)
- Early career professional experience in chip design
- Exposure to DfT specifications and driving DfT architecture (Preferred)
- Experience conducting experiments during silicon debug (Preferred)
