Job Summary

This role is for an engaged Test Field Technician specializing in the final inspection and testing of transformer monitoring, protection, and surveillance devices at the Kirchheim-Teck location. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine and special tests on transformers, generating detailed test reports, and conducting fault diagnosis and clarification of issues. The technician will control the function of protection and surveillance equipment, select and program appropriate measurement and testing gear, and verify electrical wiring against circuit diagrams and customer orders. A key aspect of the role involves customer support during acceptance testing, which may be conducted in German or English. The ideal candidate holds a technical qualification (Technician, Master Craftsman) in Electrical Engineering and demonstrates precision, motivation, and flexibility regarding project deadlines.
