Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Technical Employee within the Facility Management department for Thuringia Youth Hostels, which operates 16 unique locations. The primary responsibilities include executing technical maintenance, performing scheduled servicing, and carrying out minor repairs across the various hostels. A key part of the job is coordinating and managing external service partners and collaborating closely with the operational managers at each location. The ideal candidate possesses relevant technical training, preferably in electrical engineering, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), or general construction trades. This position requires strong teamwork, motivation skills, flexibility, quality awareness, and resilience, along with proficiency in modern communication tools, MS Office, and cloud applications. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in the first half of 2026, offering a diverse and responsible role with a company car provided for travel between locations.
