Job Summary

This role is designed for an experienced IT professional ready to step into a leadership position, ensuring the stability, security, and future viability of the company's internal application and system landscape. The Tech Lead will provide technical leadership for a small Corporate IT team, prioritizing tasks, offering technical guidance, and overseeing the continuous operation and development of internal applications and the Office IT environment, with a strong emphasis on open-source technologies. Key responsibilities include managing IT projects, maintaining internal IT assets (laptops, hardware, OpenStack/Kubernetes services), and automating processes using tools like GitLab CI/CD, Puppet, and Terraform. This position offers significant hands-on technical work combined with the opportunity to grow into a formal leadership role within a technically challenging, open-source focused environment based in Berlin, supporting both remote and office-based colleagues.
