Join the Bavarian Health and Food Safety Authority (LGL) to contribute to the 'One Health' initiative by advancing laboratory-based surveillance systems, specifically focusing on wastewater monitoring for pathogen detection. This role involves the development of data analysis and reporting tools, including web-based dashboards, and the setup and operation of corresponding IT infrastructure. You will utilize your expertise in data-driven pattern recognition, trend analytics, and reporting to generate scientific evaluations and publications. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related Life Sciences field, coupled with professional experience in developing data analysis tools within the biosciences. Strong programming skills in Python, R, Java, and SQL, along with experience in Linux server administration, are essential for success in this challenging and vital public health role.

Master's degree or equivalent (Diplom [Univ.]) in Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science with a focus on Life Sciences, or a comparable Life Sciences discipline
