Job Summary

This role as a PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer in Emsdetten involves the independent planning and development of control systems for machinery and industrial plants. Day-to-day tasks include programming PLC software, specifically using Siemens Simatic S7 V5.5 and TIA Portal, including safety controls compliant with current machinery directives. You will also develop Siemens visualization systems (WinCC flexible/TIA Portal) utilizing databases and script programming. A significant part of the role involves commissioning machines and systems both at the Emsdetten location and at customer sites, as well as programming and commissioning industrial robots, primarily FANUC systems. The engineer is expected to collaborate with customers to develop and optimize production processes, create necessary operating manuals, and conduct customer training. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering or a related technical qualification, possesses strong programming skills in PLC and visualization systems, and has experience in machine control software development, including safety and drive technology. This position offers an unlimited employment contract and performance-based, above-tariff compensation.
