Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position as an IT Technician and User Support Specialist involves the comprehensive management and maintenance of IT and communication technology within the Suhl City Administration. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring, installing, and supporting hardware, setting up new workstations (including OS and software installation), and providing user training. A crucial part of the role is handling First Level Support, receiving error reports, performing diagnostics, identifying faults, and coordinating with Second Level Support for complex issues. The specialist will also oversee the functionality and administration of network printers and copiers, perform minor repairs and maintenance, and manage external IT service providers. The ideal candidate must possess a background as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent, demonstrate a proactive, structured, and service-oriented work ethic, and be highly cooperative and team-capable.
