Job Summary

This role involves managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure for the Berlin Mitte district's Facility Management, focusing heavily on network administration to ensure the seamless operation of public services. Day-to-day tasks include primary network administration duties, general IT infrastructure support independent of specific applications, and technical maintenance of core ICT services. The specialist will also handle special assignments as directed by group leadership, which may require site visits to locations that are not always barrier-free. Candidates must possess a university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Administrative Informatics, Technical Informatics, or demonstrate equivalent skills and extensive professional experience in the IT field.
