Job Summary

This Senior Project Engineer role, based in Koblenz, is crucial for the general refurbishment of the Left Rhine Route, contributing directly to Germany's massive rail infrastructure modernization. The core mission is to ensure the quality, schedule, and cost-compliant execution of electrical engineering technical disciplines, specifically Overhead Line (OLA) and 50 Hz systems, across all phases of the HOAI (German fee structure for architects and engineers). Daily responsibilities include coordinating internal and external project stakeholders, analyzing project requirements, planning construction sequences, managing resources, and overseeing contract amendment management. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with an Electrical Engineering focus, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in OLA/50 Hz infrastructure measures. Success in this role requires strong communication skills for negotiating with authorities and contractors, deep knowledge of German contract law (VOB, HOAI), and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
