Job Summary

This role involves working as a Certified Expert Inspector focusing on the partial acceptance testing of critical railway signaling and control technology (LST) systems within the Deutsche Bahn infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently conducting partial acceptance tests, providing technical guidance to assistant inspectors, and ensuring the quality of their work. A key component of the role is developing concepts and strategies for modernizing and preparing future network expansion and reconstruction, always considering economic efficiency. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or a Master Craftsman/Technician qualification combined with five years of relevant experience. Crucially, applicants must hold official recognition as a Certified Expert Inspector for Partial Acceptance Testing in LST by the Federal Railway Authority (EBA). The position requires flexibility for occasional work during weekends, holidays, or nights, and offers the opportunity to contribute specialized knowledge to complex infrastructure projects across Germany.
