Job Summary

This role involves joining the Information Management (IM) Directorate, focusing on End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and digital solutions for Engineering, Manufacturing, and Support Engineering within the aerospace sector. The IT Operations Manager reports to the Head of Systems Engineering and is technically responsible for Requirements Management and Systems Engineering applications for Airbus Helicopters. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring a reliable IT platform for both civil and military applications, maintaining infrastructure operational status according to OLA/SLAs, and monitoring system performance. The manager will also execute ITIL-based support processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, and Event Management), diagnose system failures, and support the timely implementation of IT projects. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, possesses over five years of relevant IT systems experience, and is fluent in English with advanced German skills, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
