Job Summary

This specialist role focuses on steering the Substance Impact Evaluation process within the international aerospace industry, managing cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Design, and Program Lines to secure critical strategic decisions regarding material usage, replacement planning, and process cancellation. A core responsibility is defining the overall substance strategy, ensuring full compliance with regulations like REACH, and managing the database of affected substances and processes. Crucially, the specialist will also be responsible for delivering the Scope 3 User of Sold Products report for non-financial sustainability reporting and acting as the focal point for global warming challenges. Candidates require a Master's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or Material Science, coupled with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in areas like Configurations Management or Manufacturing Engineering, high IT affinity, and fluent German and English skills.
