Job Summary
This role involves supporting the 'Innovation Learning Lab (i2L)' project at Europa-Universität Flensburg by focusing on the system administration and technical development of digital teaching environments. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future infrastructure for innovative teaching and learning formats, primarily by managing and expanding the existing Learning Management System (Moodle) and related web applications. Key responsibilities include configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) interfaces, managing user accounts and volume licenses, and optimizing platforms for user experience (UX) and accessibility (WCAG/BITV standards). The position requires a strong technical background in web technologies (PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS), experience with API integration, and a commitment to iterative development based on user feedback. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor + further qualification or Master) in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or equivalent
Experience
- Experience with API integration and SSO configuration
- Experience with responsive front-end design and WCAG 2.1 / BITV standards
- Ability to plan usage tests and implement improvements iteratively
- Experience in First/Second-Level Support
- Familiarity with GDPR, identity and authorization management, and common IT security best practices
