Job Summary

The Europa University Flensburg is seeking a Project Coordinator specializing in IT Coordination to manage central IT tasks for two strategic, innovative projects: EMERGE (an EU-funded university alliance focused on mobility and competitiveness) and i2L (Innovation Learning Lab, supporting new forms of teaching and learning). This role involves acting as the central IT contact person, planning and updating IT project roadmaps, and representing the university in international project committees. Key responsibilities include designing and managing the overall IT architecture, specifically integrating systems like Campus Management, learning platforms, and authentication services (SSO/Shibboleth). The coordinator will also model and optimize business processes, manage IT requirements, and oversee external service providers from tendering through acceptance. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or Project Management, coupled with strong communication skills and basic experience in process modeling. Required Skills

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT coordination and project management
  • Initial experience in process modeling (e.g., BPMN, Swimlanes)
  • Initial knowledge in data management and interface coordination (preferred)
  • Professional experience in a university context (preferred)
