Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the preservation and improvement of electrical safety and preventing fire hazards within electrical systems across Thuringia. The Electrical Engineering Expert will independently conduct mandatory inspections on safety-critical installations, including electrical systems, emergency power supply, emergency lighting, fire alarm, and alerting systems, in accordance with building regulations. Key responsibilities include performing pre-commissioning and recurring tests on fixed electrical systems and operating equipment. Candidates must hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering and ideally possess accreditation as an expert for safety-critical systems (or be willing to achieve it quickly through the company's training program). The position requires strong knowledge of building law and electrical engineering standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while actively managing client relationships.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning, construction, maintenance, or operation of electrical systems (desirable)
  • Accreditation as an Expert (Sachverständiger) for safety-critical systems or willingness to undergo training for accreditation
