Job Summary

This role involves working as a Laboratory Engineer specializing in polymer materials for a renowned commercial vehicle manufacturer in Nuremberg. The primary responsibilities include conducting damage analyses on polymeric components and performing material and component tests in the lab according to relevant factory standards and test instructions. A key part of the job is executing, evaluating, and interpreting chemical-physical analyses, as well as planning and managing material-technical component validations for powertrain applications. Successful candidates must hold a degree (Master/Diplom-Ingenieur) in Chemistry, Materials Technology, or Materials Science, coupled with profound knowledge of polymer materials and processing technologies. Strong analytical skills, technical understanding of vehicle construction, and proficiency in English are essential for effective communication and execution of tasks.
